Math by Music began almost 15 years ago, formally known as Mr. Smith’s Musical Math for Children. As an elementary school teacher, Mr. Smith was dedicated to the success of his students. With his creative mind and strong passion for education, he created several methods for children to learn math, reading, and art. With his extensive background in music, Mr. Smith implemented these methods into fun and catchy songs for children. Today, Mr. Smith’s program is known as Math by Music, teaching kids that math is just as easy as learning the ABC’s.
We are constantly expanding the range of services offered, taking children of all ages. Our goal is to carefully educate and develop a fun way. We strive to turn the learning process.

My husband and I purchased one of your math tapes at the recent UEA meeting in Salt Lake City. We own a music preschool. We also have over 200 students enrolled in a piano and violin program of our own origin.
We have played your tape in our school while the children are doing their self-directed activities in the morning. They learn to sing along even though they are working on something completely different than math. we plan in future months to go into a step by step explanation of each of the songs. Right now the children love the music and the words. My own son, Gerard, cries when I take your tape out to replace it with ano- ther. He adores the words to the number line slide and does a break-dance type of dance to it.
My husband Dirk and I want to commend you on the very excellent quality of your tape. We know it must have been extremely costly to produce such a fine sounding tape. The words are clever and the music is very rhythmic.
We are wondering if you have work sheet or other written work to accompany the tapes. We note, for example, that you use the words "counting with sticks" and the horse made from 9's. Is there a particular way to do this?
We would appreciate a response if you can help us in this area. We certainly wish you success with your tapes in the future and would like for you to put us on your mailing list when you have new releases. Best wishes to you in this creative idea in learning.
